How
to find wines in our online shop
Each region
has it's own red wine section in the shop, with further sub-sections
for the various appellations. There are also sections for white,
rosé, sparkling and dessert wines. We also feature a selection
of special case offers, with
discounts on the normal individual bottle prices. The easiest way to navigate the shop is
to click on "site map" either here, or at the entry page to the
shop. If you are browsing wines, and want to get to the site map at any
time, then click on the "store top" icon, which takes you back to the
entry page, and a link to "site map". To
purchase wines, just click on the "add to basket" icon below each
wine description. If you require more than one bottle of a particular
wine, just change the amount in the adjacent box, before clicking "add
to basket". Once you have made your choice(s) of wines, simply click on
"checkout". You will then be taken to a secure part of the site, where
you enter your credit/debit card details and complete your purchase.
All credit
card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed
using 128 bit encryption and secure socket layer (SSL) technology
provided by our website host. They are only decrypted after they reach
our computer, which is itself protected by a firewall. No credit card
details are held in clear text on any web site.
Delivery
& credit card security
We provide
a mail order service to customers
throughout
mainland U.K and normally despatch orders within 48 hours of receipt.
We use an overnight nationwide courier service. Delivery
is just £5, for orders up
to £150. For orders over
£150, delivery is completely free! We also provide
a free delivery service for all orders in the Nottingham area -
please
call us for details. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Orders are
downloaded to
our computer using fully
secure 128 bit encryption
and secure socket layer (SSL)
technology provided
by our website host and then processed offline, using a normal "PDQ"
credit card machine. This is the safest and most secure method of
buying on the Internet, and no customer's credit card details are held
in clear text on any web site. For full details of our services, see Terms
and Conditions.
Making
a
purchase
When
you see a
wine you
want, click on "Add To Basket". If you want more than one of a
particular bottle, simply key in the number you would like. You can
view the contents of your basket at any time. Once you have made your
selection, proceed to the Checkout, to complete your purchase. The
minimum order is 12 x 75cl bottles, which may be a mix of any of the
wines on our list. All prices displayed include VAT at 17.5%. For
orders up to £150, we make a small charge of
£5 (including VAT) towards the cost of our packing and mail order
service. Orders over £150 will be delivered free of charge. For
full terms and conditions, click here.
Once
you have made your selection, simply go to the "checkout" and complete
your details. Your credit/debit card details are then downloaded to our
computer and processed by us "offline".
Please
help people find us
Please
tell
your friends
about us, and help our company to grow. Just copy our URL from your web
browser into an e-mail, and send it to all the wine lovers on your
contact list! That way, we can continue to expand our list, and bring
you more great wines from many other regions of France and, in time,
the rest of Europe. So please have a look around the site, and feel
free to e-mail us with your comments, whether they be complimentary or
(constructively) critical! And, if you wish, we can add you to our
mailing list. Click here to find out more about us.

Help us build our list
We
aim to
build a list of
wines that is truly representative of the regions we feature, but that
is a big task, given the size of the Languedoc and Rhône, and the
diversity of styles they offer! For as long as it takes to do so, every
penny we make on sales of our wines will be ploughed back into buying
new and interesting wines to add to our list. But we really do need
your help - so please assist us in improving our service, by letting us
know how you found our site, what you think of it, and any suggestions
for improvement. If you would like to suggest a particular wine (or
wines), producer or appellation that you think we should look into,
please send
us an e-mail - we'd love to hear
from you!
