The "Next Day Test" Case - Save £10

Leon Stolarski Fine Wines prides itself on providing customers with a wealth of information on every wine it sells. And this includes our “next day test”. We appreciate the fact that not everyone wants to finish a whole bottle of wine in one evening – including us! But we also believe that many of our wines are just as good to drink 24 hours after the bottle has been opened. Indeed, some of our wines (especially, though not exclusively, the reds) actually benefit from and improve with 24 hours’ exposure to air. So much so that, for the past 2 or 3 years, we have been including information on the ability of each of our wines to keep for a day (or even more) in an opened bottle.

This approach can also provide a good (though not wholly scientific) indication of how a wine will age in bottle over a number of years, since at least part of the normal ageing process is mimicked by the (albeit accelerated) oxidation and overall development of the wine, once exposed to the air.

We have therefore put together a mixed case of wines, from right across our range, which pass the "Next Day Test". Why not try them and see for yourself? All of the dry whites and reds will either stay fresh or improve after 24 hours. And the sweet white will keep for literally weeks in the fridge, once opened! Minimum order value, delivery charges and times
The minimum order value is £50 (plus the delivery charge). You may of course choose a mix of any wines in our range. Orders between £50 and £175: delivery charge is £6. Orders over £175: delivery is free! (If your order is over £175, please remember to change the delivery charge in checkout to £0.00). Please note: Delivery to non-mainland addresses (Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, etc.) is usually possible, but may not be on a next-working-day basis. It is also more expensive than delivery to mainland addresses, so will be charged at cost (for orders under £175) but with a small discount for orders over £175 - please call us for a quote.
